This book is about a girl named Sera who had suffered from a
very traumatic incident three years ago and has spent her last three years
trying to forgot the incident and move on. Sera never thought she would be able
to love and trust again. That was until she ran into Liam at a frat house part
her BFF dragged her to. But Liam has a dangerous secret that he believes will
only bring her more pain. His secret is eventually revealed. Will their love be
able to survive the secret, or will it rip them apart?
I love this book because it is a more down to earth vampire
book than others. Most authors wouldn’t have given one of their characters a
past like the Sera’s and I love that about this book. This book also has
amazing characters that you see in everyday life and probably know at least one
person in your life with a similar personality as these characters. I know
someone who almost has the exact personality as Sera’s BFF Kathleen. The author
also knows how portray what a young adults’ life is like in their last year of
college. And don’t get me started on the sexy scenes that are in this book. Can
you say STEAMY. I love how sweet and innocent Sera is and how considerate and
protective Liam is. Liam would do anything to protect his lovely Sera. They are
probably one of the most adorable couples in the vampire world.
All in all, I absolutely love this book and highly recommend
it. I think just about anyone who reads this book will fall in love with it in
one way or another. Brenda K. Davis does an amazing job at providing her
audience with a realistic world, characters to fall in love with, and a take on
vampires that is probably one of the most believable versions.
