~Poor Elise was completely caught off guard when she came home one day and found out that she was arranged to be mated with a neighboring Alpha that very day. A new Alpha required for a new alliance between the two packs, making Elise a pawn in pack politics.~

I found this book to very interesting. It hooked me from the very first page because it caught my attention with the situation the main character finds herself to be in. I think it is almost every woman’s nightmare to come home one day and out of the blue your parents tell you that you have to marry a total stranger that very day. So, it made me feel sorry for the girl, at the same time I was excited by the characters turn of events and couldn’t wait to see how everything turned out. Nicky Charles does an amazing job at keeping a lot of interesting scenarios throughout the book to keep the audiences interest. The writing for the book was very good, I could not spot any grammar errors anywhere in the book. A grammar error free book is extremely enjoyable for me.

I love most of the characters in the book, there is one I can’t stand and anyone who reads the book knows who that character is. My absolute favorite character would have to be Helen. She is the best mother/grandmother all rolled up into one. I love how she has a no nonsense attitude and can basically get away with anything because she is basically like everyone’s mother. And don’t get me started on Elise’s mate Kane, can you say HOT. I’d kill to have a hot, yet sensitive alpha like that for myself. Lucky girl! The only thing I didn’t like is the whole misunderstanding bit that seems to affect almost very romantic couple in book history. Is it too much to ask for characters who don’t just to conclusions and actually communicate their real feelings? This is not a dis against the author, this is just a common frustration I have with most books.

I give this book five stars because it has all of the qualities that I look for in a book. It kept my interest, it was well written, and it have developed realistic characters. I suggest everyone who loves werewolves and a sexy alpha to go check out this book. It will suck you in and not allow you to leave.
