~“Nicole
Cassidy is a witch descended from the Greek gods... but she doesn't know it
until she moves to a new town and discovers a dangerous world of magic and
monsters that she never knew existed.
When
the Olympian Comet shoots through the sky for the first time in three thousand
years, Nicole and four others -- including mysterious bad-boy Blake -- are
gifted with elemental powers. But the comet has another effect -- it opens the
portal to another dimension that has imprisoned the Titans for centuries. After
an ancient monster escapes, it's up to Nicole and the others to follow a
cryptic prophecy in time to save the town... and possibly the world.”

Description from Amazon~
What can I say about this book? I’d have to say that it
was amazing. This book keeps you on
your toes the entire time. Throughout the entire book I could not predict what
was going to happen, and that is very rare for a seasoned reader like myself. I
hate it when books are so
predictable, and I absolutely loved that this one wasn’t. Also, this book is
over one of my most favorite topics of study, and that is Greek mythology. The
way Michelle Madow intertwined Greek mythology with magic, is freaking
incredible. I’ve never read a book that has been able to do this so seamlessly.
I truly cannot get over how amazing this book was. The dynamic between Nicole,
Blake, and Danielle is so interesting. I believe it would be impossible for
what I’m sure every reader wants to happen, to happen easily. I see a huge
emotional struggle and a lot of arguments in the near future of this series. I
love Kate, she is the one character I personally can connect the most with. We
both are total bookworms, and we are both socially awkward at times. I find
Chris to be so entertaining, it’s very important to have that one character in
the story that provides a little comical relief during the toughest of times.
I’m not a fan of Danielle right now, but who knows, I might start liking later
down the series (this has happened before). Blake is okay. I love the bad boy,
sexy alpha kind of characters, and Blake doesn’t strike me as one of those.
Sure he does things he’s not supposed to do, but he’s not bad or dominate
enough for my book boyfriend crush. Lastly, Nicole. I like Nicole, she seems to
be a strong character and she has an amazing power (not to mention what we find
out about Nicole at the end of the book). However, she does seem to be a little
whinny at times, and she’s kind of naïve too. I like strong female leads, and I
think Nicole has a little more to learn before she’s become the strong female
lead I love.
Overall, I loved this book so much. Michelle Madow has
done such an amazing job with this book, and it is very clear that she’s a very
talented writer. I love reading books by authors who are so talented that I
sometimes forget I’m reading a book. I completely recommend this book to all of
my readers. This book is such an amazing take on Greek mythology. So, if you
like Greek mythology, witches, a messy love life, and incredible writing, this
book is for you. Now, what are you waiting for? Go read this book and fall in
love with the Elementals.
