~Mackenzie Smith has known she was different for most of her life. After growing up the only human in pack of shapeshifters, Mack had learned how to fight and with a fiery temper, no one would dare mess with Mack. After her only father figure is murdered, things become dangerous for Mack because this means the Brethren and their Lord Alpha have to come and investigate. To ensure to safety of the pack, Mack tries to hide her humanity while also seeking vengeance for the only father she had ever known.~

This book is AMAZING!!! It caught my interest almost immediately and I didn’t put this book down until I finished it. I loved the aspect of there being more than one type of shapeshifter. Only have wolf shifters can get boring really quick. I also loved that there is more than one type of mystical creature in this series. I also love Mack is a strong female lead that doesn’t take crap from anyone and who beat the crap out of anyone who dares to take her on. And don’t get me started on Corrigan. Can you say sexy alpha? That man knows what he wants and will not give up until he gets what he wants. You know how I love a sexy alpha. And the revelation at the end of the book is enormous!

I absolutely LOVE this series. Yes, I have already the whole series, and man does it get good. Helen Harper definitely knew what she was doing when she started this series. She knows how to create an amazing storyline and characters. You will meet character later on in the series that you will fall head over heels in love with. I recommend this whole series to my readers. You will be sucked in and you will love it. Please go get this book and give this incredible series a shot, you won’t regret it.
