The second book to the Ema Marx series picks up
right after the end of the first book Dark Heirloom. Ema is still trying to
learn how to control her powers. She is meeting new characters and learning
more about the world that she has been thrown into. In this book you will be
given more information about the world of vampyres and vampires, as well as
being introduced to new mythical beings.
I LOVE this book and can’t wait to read Dark Becoming
next. Being that my major is history, I'm completely in love with all the
historical references and information about the past of this world. I cringed
like Ema when they talk about how the past that we all know about was all just
a lie created by the vampyres. You just don't mess with history with us history
buffs.
I completely recommend this book for anyone
looking to be introduced to an exciting new world. You will fall in love with
the characters, the story, and this amazing new world that J. D. Brown has
created.
